Hey, I'm Laura Young

I'm a coffee obsessed, book loving, nap taking, bootcamp going, vacation loving, enneagram 2. I am a full-time wife, mom, daughter, sister, employee, friend & business owner who understands the overwhelming nature of juggling professional responsibilities with a busy family and all the stresses that come along with that. I help working moms find themselves again through well-planned travel experiences where they get taken care of for once!

My Story

After becoming a mom (x3) I quickly realized the importance of taking time to vacate my day-to-day life regularly. I have so many roles to play every day that I rarely have any time leftover to recharge my own batteries. I completely adore the family that I have been blessed with, the career I have worked so hard to grow, and the community of strong female friends I have around me, but sometimes the energy it takes to do it all leaves me with no gas left in the tank.

My family prioritized travel from the beginning, to ensure we always had something to look forward to. Having a set time where we knew we would have time to be present, relax and reconnect as a couple or as a family allowed us to make it through the stressful times. We come home after each trip feeling grateful, rested and full of joy and energy to take on our responsibilities again (until we don't and then we plan another trip!)

Mom on a Mission

I am passionate about designing and coordinating uplifting, unique, and memorable trips for working moms and their families. I believe in the transformational role that travel can play, especially when the stress of researching, planning, and booking is taken care of. Moms are the true heroes of their households, often feeling overwhelmed, drained, and stretched thin by the demands of balancing various roles and identities and deserve to be reminded how special and incredible they truly are.

Laura Young Travel is focused on listening to understand what makes you tick, and what you and your family need most in a trip. The result is an exceptional trip as unique as you so that you return with the exact feeling you were looking for going in.
